Eric Hungate is entering his third season as an assistant coach with the Abingdon Falcons. A former standout pitcher and outfielder at Marion High School, Hungate began his collegiate career playing for legendary coach Pat McMahon. After coach McMahon moved on to take the reigns at Mississippi State, Eric moved closer to home to finish his career at Radford University where he was a standout pitcher/1st baseman for the Highlanders. Eric is the pitching coach for the Falcons and has also assumed the 1st base coaching duties in 2010. Hungate and his wife Vicki, are the proud parents of three children; Cade(10), Chase(6), and their infant daughter Reece.
