David Farris is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Falcons. Coach Farris is a well known and highly respected member of the Abingdon community. Having recently made a career change, David is now a professor at Virginia Highlands Community College and also teaches Government and World History at AHS. In his spare time, he helps manage the Farris Service Group. Coach Farris is also an assistant football coach with his alma mater, Emory and Henry College. David and his wife Sonja, are the proud parents of four children.
