An All District, All Regional, and honorable mention All-State selection in 2006, Duran will be looked upon to help lead the '07 campaign. Carson hit .422 with 18 RBI and played stellar defense from his centerfield position. An excellent athlete, Duran was an All District performer in both football and basketball. His older brother is a starting pitcher at the University of Kentucky.
